Find out what's in store and take a look at the list of your accomplishments once you've returned from ILTA 2010.

Peer Planning
Led by Co-chairs Maureen Babcock, Manager of Systems Administration at Snell & Wilmer, L.L.P. and Meredith Williams, Knowledge Management Attorney at Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz, the ILTA 2010 Conference Committee is made up of 30 experienced and enthusiastic ILTA members. They are developing the educational program based on topics and trends identified by ILTA members.

Educational Programming
With peer-provided educational sessions that cover in-depth technical “how-to’s” to emerging technologies to professional development, there is something for every legal IT professional at ILTA 2010. Cost to attend this four-day event: $1,025. The value – priceless! And your take-away will be the value you can deliver to your firm or law department.

Strategic Unity and Law2020™
The conference theme “Strategic Unity” is based on the concept that law firms and departments need to unite technology and the practice of law further, in more and in different ways than they ever have before in order to survive and thrive in the future.  Conference sessions will be developed around this concept, offering attendees ideas and options in creating such unification strategies in their own organizations. In addition, a slate of sessions will center around Law2020™, an ILTA multiyear, multi-platform educational programming initiative focusing on the ways in which law firms will have to adapt in order to thrive over the next decade. Sessions will enter on the skills, leadership and technologies that will allow firms to harvest real growth from the changing environment.

Keynote, Super Sessions
Starting Monday morning with a high-powered keynote focusing on the conference theme and followed each morning by a Super Session speaker focusing on one aspect of Law2020™, our speakers will set the stage for the learning to take place each day.

160 Educational Sessions
Sessions center around four areas of discipline – Information Management, Organization Management, Applications / Desktop and Technology Operations with myriad areas of focus from alternative fee arrangements to cloud computing. The goal is to provide engaging topics and industry expert speakers for four full days of sessions. There is also ILTA U, our hands-on session university, providing training opportunities all week long.

ILTA conference speakers come from ILTA member and vendor ranks. At least 65% of the speakers are ILTA members telling their stories. We expect to have in excess of 350 speakers at ILTA 2010. If you would like to speak at the conference, please click here to let us know of your interest, and tell us what area(s) of focus you can speak on.

The majority of attendees rate networking as the most important benefit they get from ILTA conferences. Each year, we offer conference attendees a number of settings in which to connect and network. From the Communities of Interest on Sunday afternoon through the opening reception and throughout the week, there’s something for everyone. We even allow for enough time between sessions for you to share and discuss your newfound knowledge further.

Exhibitors and Consultants
In addition to the structured educational experience, you’ll be able to explore an exhibit hall featuring over 180 key vendors to the legal market, work with specific vendors in numerous demo rooms, and we’ll provide abundant opportunities for social networking.
