As Co-Chairs of ILTA 2010, we are thrilled to be part of the premier peer-networking and educational program for legal technology professionals in 2010.

Our theme for ILTA 2010 is Strategic Unity, a concept that resonates the need for law firms and law departments to unite their technology with the practice of law. These disciplines must come together as never before in order to survive and thrive in the future. Conference sessions will be developed around this concept, offering attendees ideas and options in creating unification strategies in their own organizations. In addition, much of the educational program will center around Law2020™, an ILTA multi-year, multi-platform educational programming initiative focusing on the ways in which law firms will have to adapt in order to thrive over the next decade. Sessions will center on the skills, leadership and technologies that will allow firms to harvest real growth from our changing environment.

The content for ILTA 2010 is framed around four areas of discipline – Information Management, Organization Management, Applications / Desktop and Technology Operations.  Sessions will be presented under myriad areas of focus from alternative fee arrangements to cloud computing.

Starting Monday morning with a high-powered keynote focusing on the conference theme and followed each morning by a Super Session speaker focusing on one aspect of Law2020™, our speakers will set the stage for the learning to take place each day.

We are very excited about leading the ILTA 2010 team. We have developed some very specific educational program goals to ensure the sessions are high-quality, focused, fresh, relevant and diverse with clearly defined target audiences and sufficient “depth;” and goals related to managing the speaker population to optimize the value of every session.

These goals will guide us in planning for conference and in measuring our success. We will be looking to ILTA 2010 attendees to tell us the extent to which we are able to achieve those goals.

Our volunteer Conference Committee is developing the topics listed throughout this website and working to find the "right" speaker(s) for each session.   Watch for session detail information as the program comes together.

Beyond the educational program, the conference will provide myriad networking opportunities to allow attendees to share and learn from other members and vendors.

We are certain attendees will find the value proposition of this conference to be very high and will take away an amazing array of knowledge and professional contacts to benefit their firms and law departments.
